"Fill the Bill" Animal Adaptations

Are you students getting restless with all the warm weather? Mine are.

This is a fun activity that will keep the students busy for a hour. "Fill the Bill" Animal Adaptation Stations is 8 different stations to show students in 3rd - 8th grade how animals have adapted to their environments.

The packet includes directions, center cards, and record sheet for 8 Animal Adaptation Stations using simple tools for students to explore what is best for animals to use. For example, a log with rice on it, to represent bugs. Students have 3 tools (tweezers, fishnet, nutcracker/pliers). They must determine which tool is the best and which animal has a similar beak. Very fun and engaging experiment.
